A lovely wedding at Dartington Hall in Devon last night.  Speeches ran on as they often do but when the ceilidh started everyone was dancing with energy and no little style.  Caller Jeremy Child was his usual enthusiastic self and the band likewise.

March and April quite busy with almost every saturday booked with weddings mostly.  Chris, our caller is getting married himself 14/4 , that our one week off wedding gigs but I suspect there may be an impromptu jig or two at the reception

We've been booked again for the Exeter Student's Caledonian Society Ball at Exeter Castle.  Having done the event at least  six times previously we know what to expect - an absolutely fantastic evening of enthusiastic dance and a mad rush for the pizza when it arrives....

Well talk about last minute, just day before yesterday had an enquiry if we could do a ceilidh for a formal gala dinner at Bristol University next Saturday.  By some miracle we were available so it's up Bristol way and let's hope they have sorted out the menu soon!
